A playful introduction to creativity.

At this age, exploring is every bit as important as whatever eventually ends up on the piece of paper.

Children get the opportunity to touch, mix, dab, roll, print, stick and discover different materials in a relaxed environment.

We begin each class with a short, interactive introduction to the week's theme. This might include a story, song or simple discussion to spark their curiosity and imagination. We then explore activities such as:

These activities help build confidence before children create their own themed artwork or craft to take home. And if they decide to take the idea in a completely different direction, that's absolutely fine too!

Each week focuses on a different artist, artistic style or creative theme.

We might discover Vincent van Gogh and his swirling paintings, experiment with Pop Art, try pointillism or learn about the colourful work of Frida Kahlo.

Other weeks take inspiration from things children already love: dinosaurs, space, woodland animals, oceans or fairy tales.

We begin with an engaging introduction to the week's idea before giving children the opportunity to experiment with some of the techniques we have discovered. They then use them as inspiration for an artwork or craft of their own.

We don't expect a two-year-old to sit still and follow instructions for an hour!

Children can move between activities, watch before joining in, return to something they enjoyed or simply take a moment with you.

You stay alongside them throughout the class and everything needed for the creative activities is provided.
