Yes. A parent or carer stays with their child throughout the class. Mini Makers is something to enjoy together, and every ticket includes a hot drink for the grown-up.

Anything you don't mind getting a little messy! We use child-friendly materials, but paint has a habit of travelling, so old clothes are always a good idea.

No craft supplies needed. We provide all of the materials for the session, so just bring your usual child essentials and your little maker.

Not at all. There is no expected ability and no perfect finished result. Mini Makers is about exploring, experimenting, using their imagination and enjoying making something themselves.

Of course! They are welcome to watch for a while, stay close to you and join in when they are ready.

Yes, subject to availability. You can book individual sessions for £12.50 or the full 7-week term for £75.

Each ticket covers one participating child and one supervising adult. If you would like another child to take part, email themakery@spence.org.uk and we can arrange an additional sibling ticket.

Yes! Babes in arms are welcome and do not need a ticket.

If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. We can then refund the fee or move your booking to another suitable class. We buy materials in advance for each session, so cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice and no-shows are non-refundable.
